Instrumentation Panels

Instrument racks and panels are custom-built assemblies used to house, organize, and support instrumentation for monitoring, measurement, control, and protection of process or energy systems. These setups accommodate a wide range of instrument types—such as gauges, valves, sensors, and meters—across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other mediums. Common features include isolation, bypass, shutdown, and pass-through functionality, along with visual indicators and communication interfaces.

Systems are often designed with signal integrity and safety in mind, incorporating isolated grounding and careful placement away from high-noise sources like VFDs or pumps. Communication protocols supported include 4–20mA loops, RS232/485, Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet-based fieldbuses, among others. Applications range from temperature and pressure control to flow, density, and chemical analysis, with instruments selected to meet safety integrity levels and environmental demands when applicable.
